Edit release-specific configuration
Customize configuration options for a particular version, target app, and environment combination.
Before you begin
Ensure the following prerequisites are met:
- Required access: You must be either:
- Workspace admin for the workspace where the mini program was created.
- Admin for the mini program you want to configure.
- Valid release status: The specific release must be either not started or in the New Version Created status.
- Required information: You might need the following information based on your mini program's requirements:
- Payment processing or identity establishment: Client ID and Merchant ID from your payment acquirer or the super app.
- Network security allowlist: A list of domains and URLs to authorize.
- Internal testing: The super app user IDs of the testers.
- Environment-specific configuration or sensitive information storage: Names and values for your environment variables.
Note: The information you need depends on your goal and the configuration fields available for your mini program. If you are unsure, you can either find details in Configuration field reference or simply proceed to the steps and view instructions in the configuration dialog.
Procedure
To edit the release-specific configuration, take the following steps:
Step 1: Open the mini program details page
- Log in to Mini Program Platform and navigate to the target workspace.
- In the left navigation panel, click Mini Programs.
- On the page that appears, find the target mini program in the list. You can use the search field to locate it quickly.
- Click the name of the mini program to open its details page.
Step 2: Update the release-specific configuration
Follow the instructions based on the release status of the target mini program version:
For a release that has not started
- Click the Versions tab.
- In the list, locate the relevant mini program version; click Select App in the Actions column.
- In the dialog, select Target App (which includes the target app and environment).
- Edit the fields as needed. Enter your prepared information into the appropriate fields.
- Click Select to apply your changes.
For a release in the New Version Created status
- Click the Versions tab.
- In the list, locate the relevant mini program version.
- Click
(the plus sign) beside the version number to expand details. - Locate the specific release by reviewing the Target App and Environment columns.
- Click Configure.
(Alternatively, click Release to enter the release process page, and then select View Configuration to edit.)
- In the dialog, edit the fields as needed. Enter your prepared information into the appropriate fields.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
